Quality from Within
For a stretch of time in our early days, we did not have any projects to work on. One day, our director received a call from Lockheed Aircraft. Before he could say anything beyond introducing himself, the caller launched into a five minute lecture about the importance of providing prompt service. It turned out that Lockheed had mistaken us with another firm who had scheduled an appointment for a project interview but did not show up. He explained the mix-up, then offered to draw up a proposal in that company’s stead. Within 24 hours, we had a proposal ready. Lockheed, impressed by our efficiency, awarded us the project on the spot without negotiating the price.
This one incident brought home a lesson we hold dear to this day: the paramount importance of quality service.
We realize that the quality culture starts from within, which is why we have a very thorough selection process in choosing our staff, who are all-rounded with hands-on capabilities. Further, we maintain our own permanent workforce of skilled workers, which enables us to quickly and efficiently respond to the needs of our clients.
